**The Role**
Reporting to the Deputy Dean, we are seeking an Admissions Manager to join our team on a full time permanent basis. The Admissions Manager will lead the team to manage the recruitment and admissions of students, to enhance KOI’s reputation and increase student numbers.
**Responsibilities**
Manage and lead a small team and oversee the operational and administrative requirements of the Admissions department
Oversee the agreed criteria to make admissions decisions efficiently, consistently and fairly
Enter decisions and generate offers using KOI’s internal student management system (SIMS) and other databases
Check and verify the fee classification of applicants
Collect and manage PRISMS data and reports
Report and present the PRISMS reports to Vice President (Student Affairs), Finance and Accounts and Student Experience Manager and all relevant staff members/departments
Monitor the responses of applicants to decisions (offer letters, CoE, refusal) and provide data to Vice President (Student Affairs), Finance and Accounts and Student Experience Manager and relevant staff members/departments
Quarterly
To be familiar and comply with TEQSA/HECS/ESOS Act requirements, policies and procedures
To be familiar with Genuine Entry Requirements (GTE) and financial capacity requirements for international students
Coordinate and manage student management in regards to student offer letters for international and domestic students; and CoE for international students each trimester
Oversee admission department’s preparation and management of student enrolments and auditing each trimester
Plan and implement admission calendar events and activities designed for student enrolments
Develop admissions instructions, notices and guides for prospective students (international and domestic) as required
**Essential**
Proven experience in a similar position within the tertiary education field
A "can-do" attitude, and a willingness and ability to work collaboratively and flexibly in a team, particularly during peak periods
Effectively manage conflicting priorities, and their strong communication skills will ensure they are able to provide high quality, professional, and efficient customer service to all stakeholders, with KOI’s reputation at the forefront at all times
Strong administrative skills, with attention to detail and high accuracy
Advanced computer skills
Must have full working rights
**Desirable**
Business, Management or relevant qualification
Previous student admissions experience at management level either within an education provider or relevant field
Knowledge of DHA (Department of Home Affairs), TEQSA & ESOS regulations relating to higher education industry/providers
Experience with administration in the higher education industry and/or a tertiary education environment
Experience in compiling and analysing data/charts and reporting tool
