Role - Live-in Support Worker/Home-care Disability Support Worker

**Job Type**: Permanent Full Time

Base Pay: $60,000 - $69,000 plus super (Annually)

Roles and Responsibilities:
Personal Hygiene Assistance:

- Provide assistance with personal hygiene tasks such as washing hands, bathing/showering, brushing teeth, and getting dressed.
- Adapt assistance based on the individual guest's needs and preferences.

Mobility Support:

- Aid guests in using mobility equipment like wheelchairs, walking sticks, and walking frames.
- Assist with mobility aids such as splints, braces, and shower chairs.
- Support guests in navigating ramps, stairs, and transportation.

Shopping Tasks:

- Accompany guests on shopping trips to supermarkets, cafes, and restaurants.
- Perform shopping tasks on behalf of guests as needed.

Housekeeping Tasks:

- Prepare and cook meals for guests, ensuring dietary preferences and restrictions are considered.
- Clean and maintain rooms, including vacuuming, mopping, and making beds.
- Report any maintenance issues to the house manager promptly.

Coordination of Social Activities:

- Assist guests in participating in a variety of in-house and community-based activities.
- Collaborate with guests to ensure their chosen activities align with their interests and preferences.

Workplace Safety and Health:

- Take responsibility for the occupational health and safety of oneself, team members, contractors, and visitors.
- Report any occupational health and safety incidents in a timely manner.
- Comply with Second Home's workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

**Requirements**:

- Valid work visa holders with full work rights may apply; sponsorship available post-probation.
- Driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- National Police Clearance Certificate or a National Police Clearance Certificate (not older than 3 months).
- NDIS Screen check.
- Covid-19 Vaccination / Booster Shot / Flu Vaccine.
- Right-to-work check.
- Working with Children Check.
- CPR and 1st Aid certificate (not older than 12 months).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $60,000.00 - $69,000.00 per year
