Position Available: Support Worker (Casual/Fill-In)

Location: Croydon and surrounding areas

Hours: Hours may vary week to week, we have clients in the Croydon and Mooroolbark area who need assistance

We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable support worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be available for casual and fill-in shifts, with the potential to transition into regular, ongoing shifts as time progresses.

If you're passionate about providing quality support and are flexible with availability, we'd love to hear from you.

Preferably have good availability throughout the week

At Kind Care Disability Support, we started with a simple idea: to provide reliable and compassionate care to people within the NDIS. We are a small, non-registered provider aiming to provide personable approach to care.

About the Role

  • Providing care to a diverse range of clients all across Melbourne.
  • Flexibility on shifts including days, evenings, overnights and weekends.
  • Excellent pay rates with a weekly pay.

Job tasks include:

  • Personal care
  • Assistance with transport and travel arrangements
  • 24 hour care
  • Household task assistance & meal preparation
  • Companionship and emotional support
  • Medication assistance
  • Community and social participation
  • Recreational activities
  • Progress note writing

Essential Criteria

  • Current Working with Children Check (or prepared to apply)
  • National Police check (or prepared to apply)
  • Current VIC drivers license with own vehicle
  • Evidence of COVID-19 vaccinations
  • Current First Aid & CPR certificate (or prepared to obtain)
  • NDIS Screening Check
