**About the role**

As the Parts Manager/Retail Manager you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient operation of the parts department. This full-time position will see you managing all aspects of parts management, from inventory control to customer service.

**What you'll be doing**
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the parts department, ensuring efficient workflow and high service standards
- Managing inventory, maintaining accurate records and ensuring optimal stock levels through effective purchasing strategies
- Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to promote parts and increase revenue
- Collaborating with the service department to ensure all required parts are available for repairs and maintenance
- Providing exceptional customer service and sales support to internal and external clients, including advising on product selection and use
- Identifying and implementing improvements in department opportunities to improve parts department processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and profitability
- Managing supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, and ensuring cost-effective procurement
- Preparing and managing department budgets, monitoring financial performance, and ensuring cost control measures are in place
- Supervising, training, and motivating parts department staff to achieve sales and service objectives
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant company policies, industry regulations, and workplace health and safety standards

**What we're looking for**
- Experience in a similar environment in parts sales, retail management, or inventory control, ideally within the automotive industry
- Diploma/Advanced Diploma in a relevant field, or at least three years of relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, equipment, and industry trends
- Excellent customer service and sales skills, with the ability to drive revenue growth
- Proficiency in inventory management and point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Strong leadership abilities to supervise, train and develop staff
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Commitment to safety, compliance and operational efficiency

**Remuneration**:
**Salary**: $74,000-$84,000 annually

This is a full time position
