**About the Role**

The International Logistics Coordinator is a supporting role to the Supply Chain and Inventory Manager which will see you be responsible for the management of product order lead times and importation, maintaining supplier relationships, as well as providing general administrative support to the international purchasing and compliance teams

**Key Responsibilities**:
**SUPPLY CHAIN & STOCK MANAGEMENT**
- Communicate with suppliers to monitor production/lead times and completion dates for all orders
- Communicate with freight forwarder to organize container and book shipments
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships (international as well as local)

**QUALITY ASSURANCE**
- Manage quality assurance documentation;- Providing to suppliers to clearly communicate requirements
- Work with suppliers to provide any missing/additional information or rework required to approve quality assurance documents
- Arrange QA checking, coordinate inspections process
- Storage of QA documentation/confirmations in the system

**FREIGHT & LOGISTICS**
- Manage supply chain documentation including order spreadsheets, purchase orders, payment deposits, customs documentation, product receipting
- Communicate with suppliers to monitor production/lead times and completion dates for all orders and with freight forwarders to organise containers and book shipments
- Organise documentation for shipping, and container movements
- Arrange local freight
- Source Freight and transport companies on a regular basis to validate shipping costs, ensuring best value and agent agreements in place
- Negotiate freight pricing and make the best commercial decisions

**LEADERSHIP & TEAMWORK**
- Ensure collaboration amongst the team to determine best outcome within a set timeframe
- Implement and share “best practice” initiatives
- Ensure a culture of continuous improvement
- Lead by example and engage with other teams to achieve goals

**About You**

Ideally you will have worked in a similar support role before where you have shown initiative, strong stakeholder engagement and have a thoughtful and persistent approach. You are known for your exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, as well as your ability to be relentless in providing solutions and driving tasks to completion.
