**This opportunity**

The **Sales, Operations & Inventory Analyst role** is responsible for understanding the device portfolio, device ranging strategy, marketing strategy and being across market trends to ensure the Sales and Operations planning process runs smoothly and to schedule. As a key contributor to the S&OP process the role will focus on coordination of resources and developing insights based on analytics and market trends that will drive improvements in forecast accuracy and a lean inventory position whilst maximising availability and sales across all channels. In addition, this role supports in the management of all purchased inventory, including providing long range financial projections and adherence to working capital targets. **This is a 12-month fixed term contract opportunity.**

**Responsibilities**
- Key contributor to the S&OP Forum including leading the Postpaid and TPM Modem forums
- Ensures the S&OP Weekly/Monthly cycle runs smoothly and to schedule
- Build and distribute S&OP packs as required
- Interpret and provide analysis on sales trends based on market activity and key business decisions
- Support Outbound Logistics team with all relevant information about market changes/launches to ensure seamless implementation to channels
- Key point of contact into Logistics operations teams to ensure S&OP decisions are executed on in a timely manner
- Ensure key launches and Vendor activities are factored into relevant sales plans
- Document minutes/actions from relevant S&OP meetings and ensure actions are followed up in a timely manner
- Communicate critical issues and mitigations to key stakeholders as required
- Working closely with the Demand planner to understand the intake plan and ensuring it is in line with both forecasts and budgets across short and long term
- Working with the outbound logistics team on allocation of inventory to sales channels based on forecasts
- Compiling and analysing Inventory Projections to understand changes in a dynamic environment and be able to translate into business impacts across both finance and sales
- Updating and maintenance of key dashboards including the interpretation of outputs to drive improvements across both S&OP and Inventory
- Analysing key data sets to drive continuous improvements in both methods and logic behind the distribution of inventory
- Liaise with vendors on matters of stock availability, forward supply, incomings management.
- Facilitate and leads production of prepaid lines and modems at 3PL
- Key point of contact for dealer replenishment and allocations
- Utilising ALPS system, collaborate with sales on consensus forecast for VHA postpaid devices as well as TPM Modems
- Distribution of TPM modems including production at multiple warehouses

**Knowledge and experience**
- Strong relationship building skills, influencing and conflict management
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Proactive approach to recommending improvement through innovation and creativity
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience in stakeholder and working group management
- Ability to work as part of a fast flowing and dynamic team
- Advanced Excel is highly desirable
- Previous knowledge of Oracle is desirable
- Advanced analysis and reporting skills
- Collaborative/consultative work style
- Good financial acumen
- Strong commercial acumen
