Aged Care Senior Leadership role managing our Retirement Living team

Permanent General Manager role at a leading NSW/ ACT Aged Care Not-for-Profit

Eligible for ‘not for profit’ salary packaging - up to $15,900 a year tax incentive

Opportunity:
As our new General Manager Retirement Living (Independent Living), you will assume the senior leadership role responsible for the overall strategic direction, service, and business outcomes of twenty-eight Retirement Villages across NSW and the ACT.

Your focus will be across both longer term strategic and more immediate operational elements of this key business are, as you navigate Retirement Living at RSL LifeCare towards a bright future for the next decade.

You’ll also:
- Develop and drive the strategic direction of Retirement Living, with an emphasis on profitable growth.- Develop a high performing Retirement Living management team, coaching your Regional Managers to support their Village Managers in all operational areas.- Drive a client service focused culture, where our clients are at the heart of everything we do.- Formulate the consolidated annual budget for Retirement Living in consultation with the CFO, ensuring budget adherence.- Working closely with your Regional Managers and Quality professionals, ensure we maintain the highest quality standards across Retirement Living.- Develop and implement initiatives to keep RSL LifeCare prepared to meet current and evolving governance business needs.

We need you to have:
- Significant and demonstrable senior management experience of a large, diverse team in an Aged Care setting, ideally within Retirement/ Independent Living communities.- Proven track record of financial performance management including revenue, costs, and cashflow.- Highly developed leadership and business acumen skills in order to manage operations, while driving change and gaining buy in from your team.- An obvious history of leading excellence in service delivery and customer care, working cross functionally with internal teams to achieve this.We can offer you:
