Supplier Onboarding Officer - Mining Client

**With a world-class portfolio of mining operations spanning several commodities, including iron ore and lithium, this organisation is an innovative and leading provider of mining services.**

**They now have a new requirement in their Procurement team for a Supplier Onboarding Officer to assist them with onboarding of new vendors and compliance of existing vendors.**

**Duties**:

- Review and assess documentation to complete vendor review in accordance with regulatory compliance and internal policy.
- Setup new vendors in accordance with the company's guidelines through a formalised process, ensure ongoing compliance through evaluating and reviewing vendor's policies and procedures and other required documentation.
- Be the first point of contact for vendors and provide updates and ongoing communication by running status reports and communicating with vendors.
- Update the internal system of record with most up-to-date records upon receipt.
- Manage the vendor's ongoing reviews and annual contract obligations.
- Monitor and track documents needed from third-party vendors to ensure compliance.
- Escalate matters to leadership team timely if unable to resolve issues.

**Skills**:

- Ability to work independently and effectively in a complex environment
- Proficient in MS office, in particular word, outlook, and Excel
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Ability to organise and meet deadlines
- Excellent document interpretive and comprehension skills
