About usThe Delivery PMO is a high performing group of project delivery professional who support the strategic goals of Translink by delivering a program of transformational projects that leverage technology to create better business and customer outcomes.
Key responsibilitiesThe purpose of the Project Advisor (Project Delivery) is to work alongside Project Managers to support project status reporting, effective coordination of risk and issue management processes, and tracking of milestones and costs.
**Some of your responsibilities will include**: Project Management Controls (Risk and Issue Management, Budget Tracking and Forecasting, Scheduling)
- Ensure timely and effective risk and issue management processes and reporting.Undertaking ongoing maintenance of project risk and issues registers by following up outstanding actions and updates with team members and support the Branch to build risk and issue management capability and awareness across the project teams. Assist in the identification, assessment, escalation and treatment of risks and issues. This may include coordinating impact assessments or root cause analysis involving a wide range of stakeholders. Responsibilities include co-ordinating setup, producing pre-reading materials, capturing workshop outcomes and following up actions. Update and monitor budget expenditure and forecasts monthly, in coordination with the project manager. Contribute to the preparation of accurate and timely program status reports; gathering status updates from project team members to prepare high quality drafts for final review within tight timeframes. Collaborate with the PMO Assurance area to ensure that project governance and assurance activities are appropriately planned and support audits during gated assurance reviews or health checks in keeping with internal practices.

Desirable requirements of the role
- 2-5 years or relevant experience as a Project Analyst, Project Coordinator, or Project Officer supporting the management and delivery of projects, where risk and issue management, scheduling budget tracking and forecasting and status reporting were a core part of the role. Broad knowledge and practical experience of all project controls used to govern and report on project performance. PRINCE2 or other relevant project management qualifications. Proficient in MS Office
