**The Advisor plays an essential role in the provision of high-quality and proactive support to key workforce planning strategies and projects across the department. As part of the Workforce Planning team the, the Advisor undertakes workforce planning functions, projects and activities for the department.
The Advisor's key responsibilities are:
- Undertake and participate in the planning and analysis of designated projects and workforce planning activities.
- Develop and maintain good working relationships with all relevant stakeholders, ensuring identified needs are met and provide advice on workforce planning related matters.
- Prepare documentation, briefing materials, submissions, papers and reports on a range of specific workforce planning matters.
- Assist in the development, review and implementation of workforce initiatives, policies, processes and systems for effective and efficient support of the
department's workforce and business objectives.
- Undertake research, analysis, evaluation and reporting of workforce data to assist with workforce planning and policy objectives.
- Contribute to implementation plans comprising of work breakdown structures including time required and completion dates.
- Attend meetings with departmental officers to discuss, evaluate and revise systems and procedures.
Applications to remain current for 12 months.
