Principal Projects Advisor

The Principal Projects Advisor is responsible for coordinating key executive briefings, datasets, dashboards and staying across projects and strategies which are of high priority for the Director-General.
This Principal Projects Advisor role is highly collaborative working with areas across the department to ensure the multi-purpose data sets and project content is accurate, timely and aligns with the overarching goals, messaging and commitments.
The Principal Projects Advisor is responsible to stay across key departmental initiatives, to create meaningful content and to help enhance stakeholder confidence.
The Principal Projects Advisor coordinates and develops key deliverables on behalf of the Office of the Director-General including but not limited to: - Monitoring and measuring delivery outcomes against priority projects such as: o each Division's long-term strategieso grants and economic programso key infrastructure projectso forward events and announcements. Maintaining and developing the full DTS project suite to produce dashboards, custom briefings and up-to-date reports as requested. Coordinating the department's monthly reporting cycle which contributes to Ministerial briefings, event and travel packs, parliamentary requirements and reference material for the Executive Leadership Team.
The role works closely with the Cabinet Legislation and Liaison Office, the Correspondence Unit and the Departmental Liaison Officers, as well as the Communications and Media teams to ensure the effective delivery and messaging of the cohesive vision and strategic objectives.The role is responsible for embedding a culture of continuous improvement and management of risk enabling clear and measurable improvements in outcomes for people and communities.
