4. Work collaboratively with the existing engineering team to fill key knowledge gaps.
5. Mentor and support less experienced engineers within the team.
6. Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, safety regulations, and operational requirements.
7. Engage with stakeholders to align engineering solutions with long-term asset management objectives.
Key Requirements
1. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil & Structural Engineering (B.Eng.).
2. Minimum of 15 years’ experience in structural engineering, particularly in marine and port infrastructure.
3. Extensive experience in asset management, bulk material handling, and civil construction.
4. Strong understanding of structural risk management and remediation strategies.
5. Prior experience working on-site in an operational environment.
6. Demonstrated ability to assess and manage the structural integrity of large-scale industrial assets.
7. FIFO flexibility within Queensland or NSW (preferred but not mandatory).
8. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior engineers.
Why Join Us?
1. Work on a critical infrastructure project supporting Australia’s bulk material handling industry.
2. Engage in challenging structural integrity work within a high-impact environment.
3. Be part of a team with a mix of experienced and developing engineers.
4. FIFO options available from locations in Queensland or potentially NSW.
5. Competitive remuneration package based on skills and experience.
