**Our Client** STAFF X Talent Solutions is currently hiring for a renowned worldwide provider of Transport & Logistics services, operating in over 90 countries. Our client delivers and oversees supply chain solutions for a multitude of businesses, ranging from small family-owned enterprises to major multinational corporations. **The Role** We are seeking a Key Account Manager on behalf of our client, whose primary responsibility will be to oversee and enhance key accounts, foster robust connections with customers, and contribute to the overall prosperity of the enterprise. The position is located on-site in Melbourne Airport, Victoria. **Key Responsibilities**: - Create and sustain a proficient strategy for handling customers, which involves setting up a structured assessment process and a business plan for each client that has been assigned. - Develop new business opportunities and continually seek to expand client’s share of the company’s customer's business. - Collaborate proactively with the designated key accounts to enhance the customers' understanding of the value-added services being provide. - Prepare pricing proposals and assist with tender management for all designated key clients. - Keep the rate cards and organizational details of customers up-to-date in CargoWise One (CW1). - Assisting operational stakeholders in creating effective internal operating procedures (IOPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs) by utilizing your expertise in customer needs and requirements. - Planning and conducting regular customer visits and organizing monthly or quarterly business reviews. - Collaborating with senior management and key stakeholders across the company to ensure excellent customer service standards are maintained. - Building and maintaining trustworthy and transparent relationships with customers at various levels. - Identifying and investigating customer concerns and working with relevant company’s stakeholders to resolve them. - This position is a true "farming" role, which involves nurturing and maintaining existing relationships with customers, rather than acquiring new ones (which would be a "hunting" role). **Key Requirements**: - Minimum of five (5) years of experience in both international freight forwarding and account management or customer care - Must have knowledge and exposure on CargoWise One - Track record of successfully managing and growing key accounts - Must have at least two years of experience in either inside or outside customer care - Adeptness in both oral and written communication - Experience in utilizing Microsoft Office software - Capability to work proficiently in a sitting position for prolonged periods, including in both office and vehicle (motor) settings. - Exceptional level of concentration - Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks simultaneously **What’s On Offer?** - You'll be joining a truly global family, with 75,000 colleagues spread across 90 countries. - You will be encouraged to take ownership of your work and treat our client as if it were your own business. - You'll be working alongside highly motivated individuals who are constantly striving for improvement. - Our client provides access to training and knowledge that can help you achieve your career goals. - You'll be working in a dynamic and informal environment where everyone is encouraged to speak their mind.
