Your day in the life of a Recoveries Specialist at Optus
In the role of Recoveries Specialist, your main focus will be on upholding quality and compliance in recovery processes, policies, and contracts. You will report to the Recoveries Manager and your responsibilities will include improving debtor performance and contributing to the achievement of important metrics within Group Credit Risk. Your tasks will involve identifying, analyzing, resolving, and monitoring data issues, while working closely with the wider Group Credit Risk team and other collaborators.
By crafting and implementing effective processes for managing customer and digital data and system risk, you will contribute to the development of a risk-intelligent culture.
Your skills to pay the bills
Demonstrated experience in data governance and risk management, with the ability to analyze and remediate data issues.
Proven ability to lead and develop strategies to optimize debtor performance.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and collaborators.
Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills to support argument development and operational decisions.
Ability to craft and implement governance requirements for data issue analysis and remediation.
Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and scenario analysis to support debt performance.
Proficiency in generating recovery insights through deep dive data analysis.
Excellent communication skills to provide insights on debtor segments and compliance standards.
