Recovery Clinician

**ABOUT THE ROLE**:

- An opportunity has become available to join a multidisciplinary community mental health team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. The chance to be a part of the welcoming, friendly and highly skilled team at the Saltwater Clinic, Footscray. We are passionate about providing an accessible high quality service to the rapid growing, diverse community living in the Maribyrnong and Hobsons Bay municipalities.
- Permanent Role - 4 days per week
- RPN 3 or Allied Health 2
- Provide quality mental health and discipline specific support, client centred assessment and treatment that is evidence based.

**ABOUT YOU**:

- An AHPRA Registration Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, Registered Nurses would also have a Postgraduate Diploma in Nursing Practice (Mental Health) or; a Social Worker with a recognised degree in Social Work and eligibility for membership for the Association of Australian Social Workers
- Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- Ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
- A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act and relevant legislation

Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
