**Mental Health Clinician Role Western Suburbs**
**ABOUT THE ROLE**:
- An opportunity to join a multidisciplinary Community Mental Health Team providing recovery focused care to consumers experiencing mental illness. - Part Time - Fixed Term Role
- 4 days per week
- Mental Health Clinician providing Case Management to clients aged 16-65yrs
- Provide quality mental health and discipline specific, client centred assessment and treatment that is evidence based.
- Offer consultation to the team and facilitate service linkages.
**ABOUT YOU**:
- Qualifications as RPN3; OT2; SW2 or Psychologist 2
- A current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Psychiatric Nurse; Occupational Therapist; Psychologist and eligible for Social Work Membership Endorsement.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.
- The ability to think critically and problem solve effectively
- Knowledge in different therapeutic techniques
- Knowledge about different referral pathways for clients requiring short and long term support
- Be consumer recovery focused care with consumers, inclusive of carers / families.
- A good working knowledge of the Victorian Mental Health Act 2014 and relevant legislation

- Mercy Mental Health (South West Area Mental Health Service) is a public mental health service supporting people in southwest metropolitan Melbourne with severe and complex mental illnesses by providing acute and community-based care. Services are available to adults through acute inpatient programs, residential rehabilitation programs and crisis and community recovery-focused treatment programs. We also deliver inpatient and community specialist perinatal mental health services to women and infants in western Victoria.
