**The Position**:
Providing high level independent policy support is the primary focus of this role, using strong communication and interpretation skills to deliver a high-quality case analysis. The
**APS5 Program Support** officer role is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic office environment and provide valuable administrative and dynamic policy insights to a passionate team, at their offices in either Sunshine or Geelong.

**About the role**:

- You will assist in co-ordinating input and drafting papers, briefings, correspondence, and presentations
- You will be preparing reports and correspondence, case summaries and official documents integral in contributing to unit outcomes
- You will be communicating, interpreting, and explaining policies and procedures within the organisation for dissemination internally.
- You will be performing independent research and analysis, reporting findings as an integral part of court proceedings and commission submissions.
- You will be able to identify problems and use sound judgment to create and improve processes and approaches
- You will be active in identifying and problem-solving issues, proactively working provide solutions that benefit program outcomes

**About you**:

- You will have previous experience providing program support
- You will have experience working under limited direction
- You can build productive and working relationships with key stakeholders
- You will be flexible and resilient
- You will have excellent organisation and time management skills
- You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You will have solid understanding of policy and legislative interpretation

**Benefits**:

- 18-month contract with high possibility of extension
- Full Time hours
- Convenient location in Melbourne's western suburbs, either Geelong or Sunshine
- $53.63 p/hr + Super
