Talent International are currently recruiting for an APS5 level Practice Management Officer to work for an Australian Federal Government Client based in Geelong.

This position is an initial 12-month contracts with the view to be extended and are paying $53.63 per hour + Super.

**Responsibilities may include but are not limited to**:

- Reviewing and processing invoices to ensure they are charged in line with appropriate contracts and ensuring compliance with Agency policies and procedures.
- Assisting with monthly expenditure reports, accruals and budgets as required.
- Managing legal disbursements including witness reports, barrister fees and working with other legal and non-legal vendors as required.
- Providing a key contact for external firms and clients for accounts related queries.
- Undertaking procedural and administrative support including mailbox management, allocating work, record keeping and data management as required.
- Assisting in preparing reports and analysing data for the branch (financial and non-financial).
- Assisting in preparing procurement documents to support the creation of work orders and contract variations.

**About you?**
- Experience within State or Federal Government highly regarded
- Finance & procurement experience advantages to this position
- Excel intermediate skills desirable
- You must be an **Australian Citizen **to work for this Client
