**About us**:
Stows Waste Management is seeking a highly motivated Scheduler / Customer Service Officer to join our Operations Department in Campbellfield Victoria. With over 130 years of history, we are a small family business that takes pride in providing exceptional customer service and making a vital contribution to the waste management industry in Melbourne and its surrounds.

**About You**:
While experience in the waste management sector is advantageous, what matters more to us is your drive, motivation, and resilience to thrive in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment.

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Hours 8.00am to 4.30pm onsite
- Scheduling and allocating orders
- Efficiently and safely dispatching loads with maximum optimization
- Providing professional customer service
- Handling incoming calls, minor sales, and co-ordinating field operators on a daily basis
- Preparing, generating and distributing Daily Run Sheets
- Monitoring fatigue management of field operators
- Providing a safe working environment for all drivers and team members in line with OH&S compliance and NHVR regulations
- Available to take out of hours emergency calls including weekends on a rotational basis.

**Skills Set**:

- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Positive attitude and natural problem-solving abilities
- Prior experience in operational and logístical roles preferred
- Thorough knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns essential
- Strong understanding of truck and equipment safety required
- Excellent planning, decision-making, and communication skills (written and verbal) necessary
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong data entry skills essential
- Experience in the waste management sector is a plus but not necessary
- Drive and motivation to succeed in a high-growth and dynamic environment

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
