**Your new company**
This Government Departments focal point is about collaborating people, policies and programs in order to make a difference in the lives of thousands of Australians every day. Based in the CBD, this organisation is supporting people in need.

**Your new role**
Will be working a 7.5-hour shift between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday, your role will be based in a high-volume inbound and outbound contact centre, where you will provide assistance via phone to jobseekers. You will provide exceptional customer service, respond to change with positivity and promote government services and online resources to customers to improve their customer experience. This role will require you to work autonomously across multiple systems at once with the ability to be empathetic with the customer while also navigating computer systems to record notes and look up information.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous experience working within a Contact Centre or phone based customer service role
- A resilient and adaptable nature
- A Positive outlook
- De-escalation skills via phone
Empathy and compassion for the customer
- A strong attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills via both verbal and written communication channels
- The ability to be able to work a typical 7.5-hour day rostered between 8am and 7pm Monday to Friday
- Have strong technical skills and ability to grasp new concepts well and easily
