Our client is a market leader in Industrial Plant /Equipment and is seeking an accomplished **Account Manager** with strong business development capability within Capital equipment or similar Industry to join their Sydney / ACT team (based in Western Sydney)

You will be responsible for managing current accounts & new sales across a client base within the Waste, Civil, Environmental, Industrial and Mining Industries of the following plant : of industrial vacuum, non-destructive digging, and industrial sweeper products.

**About the role**:

- Manage an established portfolio of clients; possessing the drive to maximize spend with additional sales and services (Accessories, Lease & After Market)
- Ability to learn the products and maintain knowledge of equipment specifications
- Work with the Operations team to ensure smooth delivery of customer products
- Facilitate, setup, and participate in trade show events
- Facilitate demos and product training as part of the sales process

**About you**:

- Be an intelligent and proactive thinker; be market astute & understand industry trends and regulations
- Ability to build existing accounts and bring in new business _(70% Account Management & 30% Business Development)_
- Technical / Mechanical minded and with previous experience with Capital Equipment / Heavy vehicles is desirable
- Ability to communicate both written & verbally with confidence and clarity
- Manage database / records and ensure accuracy and timeliness of reports
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Personable and can work with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong core values and ethics in business dealings

**Compensation**:

- Competitive Salary base + super
- Car Allowance + Toll + Fuel
- Incentive Program

**Salary**: From $110,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mount Druitt, NSW: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Business development: 1 year (preferred)
- Account management: 2 years (preferred)

- Australia (preferred)
