The company is focused on developing the 100% owned Townsville Energy Chemicals Hub (TECH) project, which will be a modern and sustainable battery metals refinery. Innovative technology, responsible management of resources together with a socially and environmentally aware team all contribute to their goal of making the planet cleaner, greener and sustainably - a reality. Headquartered in Brisbane and being a medium-sized company, as they grow, they want to retain low bureaucracy, and flexible and streamlined HR Policies, procedures and management. **About the Role** The HR Operations Manager role supports a number of key stakeholders in delivering HR solutions and services. The purpose of this role is to partner, consult and support the executive and senior leadership team, connecting business objectives with the effective delivery of the human resources function. You will provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, support and delivery of operational HR services for the HR function and the end-to-end employee lifecycle. You will also play a crucial contribution to the company's TECH Project. This role requires occasional ad-hoc travel to operational sites such as Townsville and Murrumba (QLD). Key responsibilities for this interesting and varied role will include: - Provide leadership, support, advice, guidance, coaching, and training to managers throughout the employee lifecycle journey - Develop and implement HR and workforce management strategies - Identify opportunities, mitigate, and manage risks across the HR function - Partner with the business for awareness of people's changes and issues with a view to anticipating, preventing, and/or responding to HR-related problems and opportunities - Maintain harmonisation with external industry bodies and representatives and handle all community and external relations matters relating to the HR function **About You** - Demonstrated experience in HR operations in the construction and/or manufacturing environments including operations/sites exposure - Proven experience in managing, leading and delivering the HR strategy and day-to-day tactical operational activities across the HR lifecycle - Knowledge of the Fair Work Act, National Employment Standards and Modern Awards - Demonstrated ability in innovating and managing continuous improvement in the HR function in line with the evolution of the company’s growth and its objectives - Demonstrated experience in predicting and managing issues, problem-solving and implementing solutions with staff - Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills in building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships, with a proactive and enabling approach to partnering with key stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives - Strong ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure within a fast-paced and constantly evolving commercial environment **What's on Offer** - Competitive salary, commensurate with skills and experience - Be supported by an outcomes-focused leader who is progressive, and leads innovation and change - Monday-Friday Brisbane Office Based, with occasional travel to Townsville/Murrumba throughout the lifecycle of the TECH project - Work on a diverse range of interesting resources, renewables and sustainability projects and initiatives, partnering with domestic and global partners - Enhance your career with future potential opportunities for high achievers - Help contribute to their goal of making the planet cleaner, greener, and sustainable a reality. **What Next?** To register your interest, please click the **"APPLY"** function and attach your resume for further consideration.
