**Downer Rail and Transit Systems (RTS**) is proud to be a leading provider of Rollingstock assets and management in Australia**.** We have been selected as the preferred organisation to deliver the **Queensland Train Manufacturing Program (QTMP),** the largest investment in new rollingstock in Queensland history.

This legacy project for Queensland will ensure the design, build, and maintenance of 65 brand new trains, design and build of manufacturing facilities and depots, a huge boost to local manufacturing and supply chain and jobs for the community.

We are seeking expressions of interest from experienced Commercial Managers for this key team on our project.

Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, you would be based in our amazing Milton office and would be be responsible for the development, implementation and management of the commercial and risk strategies for this large and complex construction site/project.

**About You**:

- 8+ years extensive experience managing contracts and budgets in excess of $1B
- Experience in a tier 1 Construction environment
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Construction Management, Engineering, Law or Quantity Surveying
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in complex contractual management
- Advanced knowledge of contractual law and legal acumen
- Advanced negotiation and influencing skills supported by excellent stakeholder management skills
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
