Together we Make the Difference **#teammelbourne** **How this position will Make the Difference to City of Melbourne**: The Parks and City Greening team acts as the asset owner of the City’s parks assets and is responsible for life cycle asset management, including the development of the parks capital and renewal works program. The Asset Improvement Officer plays an important role to monitor the service quality and standard of open space and other Parks and City Greening facilitiesassets. The role will be accountable for the auditing of these facilities assets and provide feedback in on contractor performance and make recommendations to improve Council’s assets. **What you will bring**: - Appropriate trade/tertiary qualification and/or experience in service quality management, or horticulture and/or arboriculture. - Demonstrated knowledge of quality monitoring methodologies - Ability to refine and implement performance monitoring systems and monitor contractor performance without bias. - Meticulous record keeping ability. - Effective organisational, time management skills and proven ability to work in a pressurised environment. - Hold a valid drivers licence. **What we can offer you at City of Melbourne** - **Attractive Remuneration & Benefits**: Excellent pay package with a range of exciting benefits.
