**The role and what we're looking for**

Reporting to the Group CFO, the role will be responsible for creating and managing the Capricorn Procurement Framework, as well as supporting the business with the procurement of goods and services in alignment with the Procurement Policy. This role is also responsible for providing leadership and management of the facilities team.

**Key responsibilities of the role include**:
**Procurement**
- Collaboration with contract owners, leading negotiation, facilitating commercial terms of contract reviews and significant amendments to contracts.
- Drive a consistent procurement process throughout the business including pre-qualification, facilitating tender management, preparation of contracts and vendor selection.
- Conduct business review meetings with key stakeholders to assess risk, review future strategies, and identify potential cost savings and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure the supply of goods and services meet the agreed timeframes and requirements of the business.
- Develop and implement reports to track financial performance and contract governance.

**Facilities Management**
- Manage and develop future workspace requirements/ facilities projects
- Approve building works and new contracts/suppliers
- Oversee facilities management
- Reviews of all contractual obligations.
- Negotiating new terms and managing contract cost reviews with all contractors.
- Demonstrated ability, knowledge and experience in all procurement process disciplines across the procurement lifecycle of demand management, fulfilment, sourcing and management e.g. spend category/commodity management, negotiation, supplier selection, supplier value management, benefits capture.
- Excellent verbal and written skills in preparing business cases and reports.
- Ability to make commercially driven decisions and recommendations.
- Ability to effectively communicate with, negotiate and influence key stakeholders.
- Highly developed conceptual, analytical and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work within tight project timeframes.
- Working knowledge in multiple commodities and spend categories.

**Experience**
- Procurement or supply chain management
- Contract management and contract administration
- Continuous improvement, driving system & process improvement
- Significant experience in a time demanding project or operational role with a focus on planning and implementation.

**Qualifications**
- Qualification in procurement or supply chain management (desirable).
