This Government Trading Enterprise is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead their procurement team on a permanent basis.

**Your new role**

Within this role, you will be responsible for delivering commercial benefit to the organisation through the use of best-practice procurement processes as well as further developing and implementing procurement and contract management policies. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Review, create and govern the Procurement and Contract Management Framework and associated policies
- Identify opportunities to improve value-for-money outcomes
- Assist contract owners with their role in procurement activities
- Lead the team of procurement professionals across all areas of procurement
- Provide mentoring and guidance to staff to further their development and procurement skills

**What you’ll need to succeed**

In order to succeed, have prior experience in a senior or team leadership procurement role, as well as excellent technical skills in the delivery of best practice procurement and contract management. Prior experience in a public sector or government organisation will be highly regarded, as well as experience with major infrastructure projects.

**What you’ll get in return**

In return, you will be given the opportunity to lead a driven and collaborative team in a senior level role. The salary level for this role is $150,000 - $155,000 + superannuation per year. This organisation also allows for flexible and hybrid working options.
