
Compliance Officer

We’re seeking a experienced Compliance Officer who is passionate about quality and standards in the VET sector. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in training packages, compliance, and continuous improvement.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Review assessment tools as part of ongoing quality assurance
- Assist in maintaining and improving internal policies and procedures
- Monitor trainer files, student records, and delivery tools for compliance
- Prepare evidence and documentation for internal and external audits
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the RTO
- Support reporting requirements to regulators and ensure data accuracy
- Help maintain compliance with the national regulatory standards SRTOs 2025 and government funding body requirements
- Develop and review Training & Assessment Strategies (TAS)
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create and refine assessments
- Support training package transitions and manage version control
- Review learning resources for both accredited and non-accredited programs
- Add resources within the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Stay up to date with contractual obligations
- Work knowledge of aXcelerate LMS (desirable)
**Who We’re Looking For**
To succeed in this role, you will need to be detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about maintaining quality standards in education.
**Essential Criteria**:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (against SRTO 2025 Credential Policy)
- Proven RTO experience in compliance, auditing, or quality assurance
- Demonstrated success in developing compliant training and assessment tools and learner resources
- Exceptional organisational and documentation skills
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Working With Children Check and National Police Check
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
