**ABOUT THE COMPANY.**

Based in Western Sydney, your team is looking for an experienced Administration Assistant to assist the team in day-to-day duties. Substantial experience is not mandatory, but you will be required to come from a bookkeeping/accounting background with the ability to work on financial reports.

**ABOUT THE POSITION.**

An initial 6 month contract (2 days/week) with the view for a 6 month extension (3 day/week). Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, your knowledge of financial processes will be critical in the administration function of the team. Training will be provided and applicants with no Council experience are welcome to apply.

**DUTIES.**
- Assist the Senior Program Manager with administrative duties
- Create & manage purchase orders
- Receipt and process invoices
- File & cost account management
- Administration of grants & report to funding agencies

**SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.**
- Highly developed administrative skills and bookkeeping/accounting knowledge
- Experience with TechOne is highly regarded
- High level of maturity with excellent communication and organisational skills
- Experience working in Local Council is highly regarded but not mandatory
