About the Role

Service Stream’s Telecommunications division are currently seeking a Commercial Manager - Pricing & Scope to join our growing company. You will be responsible for leading tender pricing activities for the Telecommunications division with the assigned operational and commercial leads.

Nature of position: Permanent, Full Time

Location: Collins Street, VIC

Reporting Line: General Manager, Commercial

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the estimators in development and submission of high-quality accurate telecommunications industry tender prices.
- Coordinate pricing management workshops across design, engineering and commercial.
- Actively contribute, coordinate, and disseminate winning work pricing strategies evolving across the lifecycle of the tender.
- Ensure competitive, compelling, and professional submissions are made to the clients meeting tight deadlines.
- Manage tender governance requirements including risk, and opportunity allowances.
- Perform analysis and high-level summaries of the submission to provide comfort to management.
- Detail all key assumptions made in pricing to ensure management and client awareness.
- Prepare and make client pricing presentations at post tender workshop and negotiation stages.
- Implement and enhance tender pricing frameworks and processes to drive consistent outcomes throughout the opportunity life cycle.
- Assist the Commercial teams in aligning scope, resolving issues and concerns.
- Ensure the business processes are followed in estimating execution.
- Work with assigned Commercial Manager on high-quality bid handover from the tender team to the project team ensuring that key pricing information is transferred for successful delivery.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will possess strong technical ability and interpersonal skills. We are seeking an individual with demonstrated knowledge and experience within the telecommunications industry relating to pricing.

You will also demonstrate and possess the following:

- Experience within the telecommunications industry with a known client base
- Strong demonstrated experience in pricing
- Demonstrated experience with SoRs
- Experience working with subcontractors, and clients.
- Good technical knowledge
- Significant experience in commercial management and working with operations groups.
- Proactive, flexible and collaborative approach
