The role is for an experienced Commercial Manager who can manage commercial relationships across internal and external stakeholders of Logicalis Australia.
The Commercial Manager will ensure Logicalis negotiates and positions itself in a strong and robust commercial position, maintaining a strong risk posture. This means balancing two core motives: finding a prudent, profitable and workable way for Logicalis to deliver on its technical and commercial obligations to clients; and working with our legal counsel to reach a pragmatic, workable risk position with those clients.
Working with key stakeholders across the Logicalis Australia business, including the Finance Director, Legal Counsel, National Sales Manager and Industry Sector Leaders, Services Director and CEO, as well as the broader teams, this role will foster relationships both internally and externally to facilitate ongoing efficiencies and process improvements, securing optimum commercial outcomes from a procurement, sales and financial perspective.
**Accountabilities**
**We estimate that 60% of your role will be Operational Reviews and negotiations, with 40% being on process improvement and risk management.**
- Reviewing commercial opportunities in the form of tenders, renewals and similar as arise.
- Work in unison with the Logicalis legal counsel and Finance Director to ensure transactional arrangements are commercially prudent, risk managed and timely.
- Lead the preparation of business cases, incorporating financial and non-financial opportunities and exposures, highlighting risks, upsides, and stakeholder considerations.
- Improve business processes to facilitate operational efficiencies, risk mitigations and other commercial outcomes, driving effective change.

**About You**
You will be a highly focused and driven person who is passionate about contributing to Logicalis through delivery of optimum commercial outcomes. You will be a qualified in finance, commerce, accounting, business and/or Legal. You will enjoy a fast-paced environment, with scope to make your mark through the securing of outcomes, accounting for competing stakeholder needs, whilst developing and implementing process efficiency and frameworks for success.
In your role as **Commercial Manager**, you will engage with clients alongside our sales and pre-sales teams to negotiate deliverable commercial outcomes for those clients, and monitor, analyse, and advise on contractual obligations involving new and existing agreements for the business as well as developing the process and framework improvements needed to align with Logicalis’ strategic goals.
- Exceptional experience in commercial contract negotiation in a technical / professional services industry (IT services an advantage) - including in procurement roles.
- Qualification in Law, Commerce, Accounting or Business Administration would be advantageous.
- ICT industry experience (preferred).
- Experience developing and improving current processes.
- Experience with vendor sales processes and practices.
- Experience with CRM systems.
