Accounting Assistant

As our accountant assistant you will be reporting back to our CEO to assist where needed, further promote the Gilani Engineering brand and widen our clientele.
**About our brand**:
Gilani Engineering is a budding assistive equipment provider aiming to eventually become a one-stop shop for NDIS recipients all around Australia
Our talented engineers are experts in:
- Home modifications
- Vehicle modifications
- Wheelchairs
**You will be asked to complete a wide range of tasks including;**
- Payroll
- All Legislation
- Making sure all business documents are up to date
- Employment contracts
- Account reconciliations
- Cash flow
- Business performance
- And more
**Requirements**:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced computer skills and proficient at Xero accounting Software
- Trustworthy, autonomous worker.
**Ideally, you are**:
- **a university graduate** in accounting
- **eligible to work in Australia,** with permanent residency, Australian citizenship or a visa which allows you full working rights here;
- **genuinely interested** in the disability sector, communications, marketing and NDIS
- **an exceptional communicator**: You are confident in speaking to anyone, no matter their job title, and you are fastidious about communicating clearly and succinctly to your audience when you write.
- **collaborative and adaptable**: You will have a can-do attitude and great interpersonal skills. A willingness to learn and receive feedback is a must;
- **Dedicated and organised**: You are keen to provide the best support to the Growth Team. Attention to detail, time management and organisation are critical to your success so you are capable of setting up and adhering to your own system of structuring your work day and prioritising tasks;
- **Team focussed**: Ability to contribute effectively and constructively to the team
- **Willingness to grow**: Committed to professional development, and excited to be a part of a new and growing company
Flexible work time but need to complete daily or assigned tasks in time.
