A mid-size retail Company is seeking the immediate start of an Accounts Payable Clerk on a part time basis at its office located in Smithfield.

This is a full time role for experienced candidates, and/or work experience for graduate for internship opportunity.

Role responsibilities:

The role on offer requires a proactive and adaptable individual who can hit the ground running. The position will assist the Finance Manager with the accurate data entry of supplier invoices and other accounting related tasks.

Account Payable Position Duties:

  • Accurate coding and data entry of authorised supplier invoices
  • Supplier Invoice matching to Purchase Orders via PO Software, processing and import into Microsoft Dynamic Business Central
  • Bi monthly payment runs and sending remittances
  • Process and pay employee expense reimbursements
  • Process and reconcile credit card transactions
  • Receipting of debtor invoices
  • Supplier/Vendor statement reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Credit Card reconciliations
  • Communicate with suppliers and resolve queries
  • Liaising with sites regarding AP queries
  • Maintenance of accounts email inbox
  • Filing of creditor invoices/payments
  • Assist with answering telephones
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required

Payroll Position Duties:

· Processing regular and ad-hoc payroll

· Reconciliation and check balances of payroll reports

· Resolve payroll queries in a timely manner

· Maintain employee records

· Assist recruitment process and prepare employment contracts

· Update HR policies when required

· Any other duties as requested

Successful candidate will have:

  • Experience in Dynamic 365 or similar accounting package
  • Eye for detail and accuracy
  • Prior Accounts Payable experience (minimum 1 years)
  • Ability to work autonomously and with minimal supervision
  • MS Office skills, specifically Excel skills
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
