Our client is a market leading food distributor providing food direct to the foodservice industry. They are seeking a State Manager to oversee the Victorian Operations, based out of their Truganina head office which will include Supply Chain, Logistics, Transport, Operations & People Management.

This is a fast-paced and complex business where no 2 days will be the same. They are seeking a hands on leader who can manage the drivers and broader operational team. You will be joining an established privately run business with a great supportive culture who are continuing to grow.

**RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE ROLE**
- Manage all operational initiatives in Victoria including an off-site location
- Achieve annual performance targets
- Routing optimisation
- Develop new business opportunities and attend to key accounts
- Manage, execute, and measure growth strategies
- Monitor maintenance of vehicles, equipment, and warehouse adhering to safety standards
- Ensure quality, food safety & OHS standards are followed
- Ensuring daily tasks are completed accurately and on time

**IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE**
- Management experience ideally in Operations & Transport/Logistics
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience in routing
- Manage P&L financials
- Ability to manage and lead people & processes in a changing environment
- Energetic & self-motivated with a positive attitude
