
Sales Representative

**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prospect and develop new business opportunities in the scrap metal industry.
- Manage and grow relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met with top-notch service.
- Identify and qualify potential leads through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Conduct on-site visits and evaluations of customer scrap metal inventories.
- Provide quotes and pricing for scrap metal collection and recycling services.
- Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Collaborate with operations and logistics teams to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to stay ahead of the market.
- Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Ensure all sales documentation is complete and accurate.
**Required Skills & Qualifications**:
- Proven experience in sales
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships.
- Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Xero.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for customer visits.
- Knowledge of scrap metal recycling processes and pricing is preferred but not required.
**Job Type**: Casual
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
Licence/Certification:
- Driver Licence (preferred)
