**About the Company**
Our large NSW State Government client aims to actively grow and manage the supply of the right types of housing, at the right time, in the right areas, for people in need in the NSW community.
**About the Role**
They are currently seeking Business Support Officer to join their team working under a hybrid model out of their Parramatta OR Strawberry Hills Offices. This is an estimated 3-months temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.
Working within the Commercial Division, you will be required to provide a wide range of administration and business support to the Executive Unit and Capital Transactions teams to ensure the efficient delivery of financial and operational services.
Your duties, will include but won’t be limited to the following:
- Deliver high level professional customer service
- Answer enquiries providing timely and accurate responses
- Complete diary and travel management
- Strategically schedule and coordinate meetings including arranging meeting room presentation, equipment and catering
- Preparation of documentation including advice, correspondence, ministerial briefs, correspondence, agenda’s, minutes, reports and presentation material
- Gather and collate information to support informed, strategic decision-making outcomes
- Ordering stationery and maintaining office equipment
- Complete financial administrative duties including invoices, goods receipting and purchase orders
- Coordinate acquisitions and disposals, valuations, feasibility studies, easements and in progress project related queries
- Provide advice, mentoring support, analysis, issues, complaints management and process awareness to new suppliers and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain up to date property sector and property transaction services
- Provide support on procurement requirements and contract management
- Records and database management ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships facilitating engagement, consultation, negotiation, collaboration, and contribution of ideas
- Contribute to strategic continuous improvement strategies
**About You**
To be successful in this great assignment you will have the following
- Demonstrated Project or Business Support experience
- Public Sector, Facilities or Asset Management experience highly advantageous
- Previous experience working within a confidential/sensitive environment
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Superior organisational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency with MS Office suite, TRIM, Ignite and SAP
- Willingness to undergo National Police Check
- Ability to commence the assignment and commit to the duration
- Fully COVID vaccinated or medical exemption
