We are currently recruiting for a VMWare Technical Specialist for an Iconic Australian Client.

**About the role**

The VMWare team provide 24 x 7 operational support for on prem virtual environment and remote sites that provide that underpin almost all technology solutions.

**Responsibilities**
- Manages incident, request, problem, change, configuration and knowledge management within that space
- Work across both BAU and projects to provide technical assistance where required
- Play a key role in supporting the team with BAU, project work along with having a sustainable work life balance for all vmware resources, not renewing this role will result in adversely effecting BAU/project capabilities and deliverables, which will also impact operational SLA's

**Skills and experience**
- You should have a deep understanding of VMWare technologies, including vSphere, vCenter, vSAN, and NSX. Experience in managing virtual environments and troubleshooting complex issues is essential.
- Demonstrated experience in Midrange technologies(UNIX & LINUX) deployed both on premise and in Cloud environments
- Knowledge and expereince with SAP and SAP Hana
- Automation experience (puppet, Ainsible, CI/CD, GCP) and use of modern toolset
- Hands-on experience in the design, implementation and support of infrastructure solutions
