Technical Specialist - Workers Compensation - $90,000 - $115,000 + Super.

You will be joining one of the oldest and most trusted Personal Injury Insurers in Australia. This organisation is firmly established as one of the best Insurers in its sector and is looking to add a Technical Specialist to one of their Case Management teams

**Your new role**
This Technical Specialist position will see you joining one of the Case Management teams as an escalation point for complex claims and provide technical support to Case Managers.

Key responsibilities:

- Coach team members by providing technical feedback and upskilling, in addition to providing strategic advice on workers compensation guidelines.
- Deliver progress updates and recommendations in Claims team meetings.
- Identify areas for operational improvement across portfolios by developing and maintaining effective working relations with the claims team.
- Attend tribunals for complex claims and provide legal advice to Case Managers.

**What you'll need to succeed**
- To be successful for this position, you will possess the following:

- Thorough understanding of relevant VIC workers compensation legislation.
- Experienced in workers compensation case management, calculating weekly entitlements and dispute resolution skills.
- Ability to coach and upskill team members is highly desirable.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
