Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in the design and delivery of Microsoft 365, Azure, networking, and security solutions for SME and mid-market clients.
- Perform infrastructure upgrades, system migrations, and security improvements across client environments.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate common tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance system management.
- Deploy and support technologies like VMware, FortiGate firewalls, Microsoft 365, and backup systems.
- Collaborate with the internal engineering team to scope, build, and deliver projects on time and within budget.
- Conduct technical discovery sessions and site visits to ensure solutions are aligned with customer needs.
- Help develop internal documentation, technical standards, and reusable solution templates.

Tech Environment You’ll Work With:

- Microsoft 365 & Azure – including tenant security/hardening
- VMware – cluster expansion, performance tuning
- Fortinet Firewalls – migration and configuration
- Backup Infrastructure – redesign, offsite solutions
- Networking – switching, routing, interconnects
- PowerShell – scripting for automation and system management

Skills & Requirements:

- Solid background in infrastructure or systems engineering within an MSP or consultancy environment.
- Strong hands-on experience across Microsoft 365, Windows Server, networking, and virtualisation.
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for task automation and environment management.
- Exposure to firewall tech (ideally Fortinet) and backup solutions.
- Confident communicator able to work with clients and internal stakeholders alike.
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to get involved in a variety of projects.
