Interior Designer

WHO YOU ARE
You love the work of implementing your designs from a sketch into reality, as you are a practical and hands on individual, with proven ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment. You have a deep passion, curiosity, and understanding of home furnishing and people’s everyday life at home. You area creative thinker, with commercial visual competence and a keen eye for aesthetics. You have a tertiary education or similar qualification in interior design. Experience with AutoCad, SketchUp, Adobe CC Suite and/or Revit is preferred.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As an Interior Design Co-worker, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Using your passion for home furnishing to contribute to positioning the IKEA store as the first choice for home furnishing in your local market.
- Stimulating and increasing the interest for home furnishing through constantly showing new and inspiring solutions that motivate people to visit the IKEA store frequently.
- Assisting in building furniture and setting up new room-sets when required.
- Using the IKEA product range to show the distinct and different styles that appeal to many individual tastes and needs within the local market.
- Reflecting the IKEA Brand identity by creating visual impact in all commercial, sales support, and co-worker areas.
