**Your opportunity**

The Head of Talent Acquisition is a new role reporting to the Executive Global Shared Services to initially lead the Australian-based talent acquisition teams for the enterprise. As we are currently implementing Workday, a significant focus of this role is to lead the transformation of the Talent Acquisition function in readiness for Workday, and to embed a new operating model focused on capability improvements, proactive talent sourcing and service delivery. This transformation leadership will include our 11 global offices and creation of a global service delivery model for Talent Acquisition at NAB.

This role is multifaceted in that the core focus will remain on exceptional support and delivery to Customers and Colleagues in all things Talent related. But also require the successful incumbent to lead, motivate and build a contemporary recruitment function with a commercial and operational mindset, that also thinks on a global scale.

**About the role**
- Develop talent acquisition team, operating rhythm, metrics, accountabilities & interaction matrix with key teams
- Build, run and maintain an integrated Strategic Sourcing Function.
- Build capability in TA Teams and ensure ongoing capability uplift.
- Accountability for TA controls, including governance, identification and management of emerging risks, reviewing and maintaining controls and driving automation opportunities
- Build market data and insight capability for People Leaders and recruitment teams to enable data driven decisions
- Ensure changes of policy and procedures are embedded across Talent Acquisition
- Reporting and benefit alignment, ROI analysis across service offering
- Alongside the Executive, set the strategic direction for the Talent Acquisition team, lead planning and review activity (including defining business value, 90-day plans, PI planning and retros)
- Understand the future workforce needs of the business.
- Manage our external partnerships with external TA agencies and vendors
- Drive internal focus on continuous improvement and increasing capability to develop and maintain an innovative, digitally capable and operationally disciplined workforce
- To establish suitable metrics, analytics and tracking mechanisms to assess performance
- To leverage AI and technology to automate and expedite online and database searches for stronger outcomes.

**What you will bring**
- Minimum 5 to 10 years’ experience of full-cycle Talent Acquisition, ideally with experience in strategy development and execution
- Demonstrated experience of leading a transformation agenda in a change environment
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to engage, partner and influence stakeholders at all levels
- Strong knowledge of operational Human Resource functions and service offerings
- The ability to operate effectively in a dynamic environment with changing priorities and across large complex environments, whilst prioritizing your work under pressure.
- Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (desired)
