**Introduction**:
We are seeking a Manager of Sales Development to lead a team of 3-8 Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) based across APJ and potentially North America. This is a pivotal role, representing the SDR function for the entire APJ region while collaborating closely with global counterparts in North America and EMEA. This team has consistently delivered exceptional results, surpassing targets and building a strong legacy. We need a leader who can continue to drive performance, maintain a winning culture, and serve as a strategic contributor to our global SDR organization.
**What You'll Do**:
**Leadership & Coaching**
- Manage, develop, and inspire a high-performing team of SDRs, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and excellence.
- Provide hands-on coaching to SDRs on prospecting, qualification, and opportunity creation to ensure consistent results.
- Build and maintain a culture that motivates and energizes the team while fostering collaboration and shared success.
- **Strategic Impact**:
- Represent the SDR function for the APJ region, driving regional pipeline targets and contributing to global strategies.
- Collaborate with global SDR leaders in North America and EMEA to share best practices, align on initiatives, and scale successful programs.
- Own pipeline capacity planning and forecasting for your region, ensuring alignment with marketing and sales leadership.
- **Operational Excellence**:
- Optimize lead qualification and outbound prospecting processes to improve pipeline conversion rates and overall efficiency.
- Utilize Salesforce, Outreach, and analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and drive data-driven decision-making.
- Regularly review and refine team processes to ensure scalability and repeatable success.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:
- Partner with marketing to enhance lead quality and ensure seamless handoffs between SDRs and Account Executives.
- Work closely with the broader sales organization to align on strategies and maximize the effectiveness of pipeline generation efforts.
- **Talent Development**:
- Drive the hiring process to build and expand the team, partnering with People Operations to attract top talent.
- Mentor and develop SDRs to prepare them for future roles within the organization, contributing to a strong talent pipeline.
**What We’re Looking For**:
- **Leadership Experience**:
- Proven track record of leading and growing high-performing SDR or sales teams in a SaaS environment, preferably with enterprise-level experience.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and mentor SDRs, fostering skill development and long-term career growth.
- **Strategic** Acumen**:
- Strong understanding of enterprise sales processes, account-based strategies, and pipeline generation in complex sales cycles.
- Experience collaborating with global teams and working across time zones.
- **Data-Driven Mindset**:
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Outreach, and analytics tools; ability to build reports, forecast accurately, and make informed decisions.
