**About the role**

The Precincts team is responsible for the creation and delivery of large-scale urban redevelopment projects across Victoria including Fitzroy Gasworks, Melbourne Docklands and Revitalising Central Dandenong. Drawing on your exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, you will direct development activities and enhance internal and external stakeholder relationships for the Fitzroy Gasworks precinct by coordinating the flow of information across numerous internal and external groups.

As a Development Manager your key responsibilities will include:

- Monitoring the financial performance of the allocated project by closely reviewing the financial performance against the set objectives and arranging monthly evaluation reports to management.
- Assisting with the preparation of financial feasibility models and analyse the potential of a project to deliver a return on investment as approved by the Development Victoria Board.
- Implementing precinct wide documentation control, risk, issues, program, and financial management systems and ensure these are clearly communicated to team members.
- Utilising project costing and cash-flow management reporting systems and oversees their effective implementation to monitor delivery of projects against agreed budgets and performance targets.
- Preparing, maintaining and monitoring project programs to meet the project objectives.
- Coordinating and directing internal and external project inputs across the precinct including planning, design quality, settlement, title creation and site handover.

- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A proactive and resilient nature who thrives in a fast-paced, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Exceptional time-management skills with the ability to juggle competing priorities from multiple stakeholders.
- Proven ability and experience in planning, organising and coordinating development, design, construction and marketing of projects.
- Experience in sensitively managing and directing stakeholders to generate successful outcomes.
- Experience in the preparation and analysis of financial feasibility studies, budgeting and tight cost monitoring to achieve profitable outcomes.
- Tertiary qualifications in a property, project management or communications related discipline.
