**About Advancement**

The Advancement Office aims to facilitate the establishment and maintenance of mutually beneficial relationships between the University and its alumni, friends, and benefactors. It is responsible for the management of programs relating to alumni and benefactors and provides services to and works collaboratively with faculties and other central administration areas.

**About the Role**

The Global Communities team builds and maintains effective relationships with local, interstate and international alumni communities including association and group leaders. The Program Coordinator, Global Communities is responsible for the delivery of programs that support the University’s alumni and stakeholder engagement objectives.

You will implement innovative global alumni relations activities within the Advancement portfolio, utilising both face-to-face and digital elements as appropriate. You will also contribute to communications, research and information gathering on alumni, as well as CRM and alumni data management.

Responsibilities include:

- Work in collaboration with the AR (Alumni Relations) Program team to develop, organise, deliver and review large-scale pan-University alumni and stakeholder engagement programs, activities and events relevant to the program area or broader AR priorities.
- Work in collaboration with faculty clusters, Advancement and other shared services teams across the University to deliver programs for specific alumni and stakeholder communities
- Manage information relevant to alumni as appropriate on the Advancement CRM to inform alumni/corporate relations, enterprise and philanthropic activities.
- Coordinate and implement international engagement strategies & activities that connect alumni and friends to the University through rich intellectual and cultural content
- Use digital and social channels to engage and build communities, with a focus on Asia and India.

**About You**

You should also have:

- Undergraduate qualification in a relevant discipline and/or equivalent mix of education and relevant alumni relations (or external relations) experience as per the current Enterprise Agreement classifications.
- Experience in the delivery of alumni relations (or external relations) strategy and operational activities including events involving an international community.
- Fluency in another language/work experience in another country or with diverse cultures and communities, managing relationships in cross-cultural environments (ideally Asian)
- Demonstrated program and project coordination experience including expertise in using insights and data to measure performance of programs.
- A sound understanding of using social media to support engagement and community building.
- A strong understanding of and demonstrated track record of working with complex CRM’s.
