**Job Description: Baker**

**Responsibilities**:

- Prepare a variety of baked goods, including traditional and contemporary Filipino pastries and breads
- Performing tasks such as kneading, maturing, cutting, molding, mixing and shaping dough and pastry products
- Coordinating the various stages of breads, loaves, rolls, cakes and pastry production including forming, loading, baking, de-panning, unloading and cooling
- Checking the quality of raw materials and weighing ingredients
- Follow recipes and techniques to ensure consistency and quality
- Develop new and innovative recipes to expand our menu offerings
- Create delicious cakes and skillfully decorate them
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Emptying, cleaning, and greasing baking trays and other baking equipment to ensure they are ready to use
- Monitor inventory levels and manage ordering of baking supplies
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient production of baked goods

**Requirements**:

- Proven experience as a baker, with a strong portfolio of baked goods
- Knowledge of traditional Filipino baking techniques and ingredients
- Creativity and ability to develop new recipes
- Expertise in cake making and decorating
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Qualification of at least Certificate III in Patisserie or equivalent
- Food and Safety certificates
