Suburban Rail Loop (SRL) is an integrated transport infrastructure and precincts planning project that will deliver a 90km rail line linking every major train service from the Frankston Line to the Werribee Line via Melbourne Airport, as well as investment in the suburbs, better connecting Victorians to jobs, retail, education, health services and each other. Suburban Rail Loop Authority (SRLA) is the statutory body established to plan all elements of the project, procure builders, develop structure planning for SRL Precincts and oversee construction and the other changes that will help transform Melbourne and Victoria.

**About the opportunity**:

SRLA is looking for an experienced Change Management Specialist to play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of this ambitious project. The Change Management Lead will ensure robust governance of change processes, procedures and systems for Work Package G (Linewide Alliance contract). Works include tunnel and cross passage fit out, power supply, rail systems, signalling and integration, rolling stock, and depot and maintenance facilities at the Stabling Facility in Heatherton. This role is crucial not only in maintaining the current project baselines, but also in integrating and aligning all aspects of project changes to meet SRLA’s overarching project objectives.

Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, your key accountabilities will include:

- Collaborating with the project team to ensure that the change management processes are effectively followed and updating them with any changes in the plans and procedures
- Working closely with the Suburban Rail Loop Authority team consisting of Engineering, Delivery, Project Controls, Commercial, Safety, Land Planning & Environment, Stakeholders & Communications to ensure all change impacts are effectively assessed and implemented
- Providing directional advice and strategic guidance to project team and facilitating the progression of project changes through their review, approval and implementation stages
- Proactively identifying potential issues and risks as well as cost and schedule impacts related to changes to ensure the successful delivery of the project program
- Delivering and leading regular presentations and meetings to update the project team on the status of proposed or ongoing changes, ensuring clarity and alignment with project objectives
- Conducting post-implementation reviews to validate the results of the change request confirming all key actions are closed

This is a permanent, full-time role. You will work in a hybrid work model with access to a range of flexible working arrangements.

**About you**:

- Demonstrated experience in coordinating and administering change management principles, methodologies and tools within large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Solid technical expertise in interpreting engineering and construction drawings, plans, estimates, schedules and risks to assess infrastructure and operational impacts of changes.
- Outstanding stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to negotiate and influence key internal and external stakeholders.
- Highly developed written and verbal communication skills to clearly articulate complex correspondence to a variety of audiences.
- Strong computer literacy and proficiency in using change management systems to optimise project outcomes.
- A relevant qualification in Engineering or Construction Management.
- Experience in Linewide and Operations including signalling, operations and maintenance contracts, and handover to operators (desirable)
- Experience using Microsoft 365, IBM Engineering Workflow Management and ProjectWise (desirable)
