About the role

In this role you will be responsible for:

- Preparing and processing invoices for the Commercial Business Unit, including sponsors, suppliers, media rights, and sports betting.
- Assisting with the preparation of monthly financial management reports, profit & loss, and balance sheets.
- Supporting budget planning, monthly reviews, and reforecasting processes alongside the Finance Business Partner.
- Contributing to Australian Open prize money office and assisting in system and account maintenance tasks.
- Providing support in accounts receivable and other finance-related duties as required.

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

- Have a CA qualification (or equivalent) or be working towards qualification in the near future.
- Experience within a Big 4 or Mid-Tier firm is preferable, but not essential.
- Bring strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Have excellent time management and organisational abilities to meet tight deadlines and prioritise work effectively.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of accounting principles, reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Be a collaborative team player with the flexibility to support high-profile events like the Australian Open.
- Hold (or be willing to obtain) a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
- Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work associated with Tennis Australia.
