**About the role**

To support our success we are looking for a Team Leader, Claims Management to join the Insurance Services team based in either Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

As the Team Leader, Claims Management, you will to build, embed and lead a culture of customer obsession through the management of insurance claims for Australian Retirement Trust. You will be responsible for a team who are accountable for managing claims on behalf of members through proactive case management. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure a market leading quality of service is delivered and maintained. To ensure appropriate claim outcomes you will support the team to facilitate strong relationships with members, internal stakeholders, insurers, and external third parties for the purposes of claim resolution.

You will also evaluate team member performance, provide coaching and feedback and implement development plans for individuals to support the ongoing growth of knowledge workers.

This role is available as a **permanent/ full-time opportunity.**

We are **flexible** with location - Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne.

**About you**

- Demonstrated experience in leadership and management of a team, including performance management, change management, recruitment, and staff motivation.
- A genuine passion for customer service and the ability to inspire and lead others to deliver outstanding customer experiences.
- Advanced stakeholder management capability, with experience managing multiple stakeholders, including external parties, to influence and negotiate outcomes of a complex nature.
- Ability to negotiate and liaise at all levels in a sensitive and appropriate manner, representing the members and the clients’ interests with integrity.
- Demonstrated business and commercial acumen through communication of complex issues, assessment of risk and improvement recommendations.
