The purpose of this role is to manage claims for a designated region in accordance with policy conditions and department service standards.

Responsibilities include (but not limited to):

- Advising clients, brokers and account management staff on all claims matters
- Liaise with Clients and insurers on daily enquiries
- Claims Assessment - interpret policy wording and review of circumstances
- Progress Claims - Advocating settlement of claims to the client’s best advantage
- Assess and investigate non straightforward claims
- Negotiations with clients on information on non-straightforward claims
- Produce and follow up on claims correspondence
- Liaise with Claims Team Leader in providing clients, brokers with structured solutions to their claims management issues
- Review complex claims, assist clients with dispute resolution including IDR & EDR (AFCA)
- Assisting other staff on claims
- General administration as required

This is a great opportunity and to be considered, we are seeking a professional in a similar role, ideally with exposure to the Insurance Brokers or Financial Services industry plus:

- Fleet or heavy transport claims management experience is highly advantageous
- Client servicing experience including front line client facing interactions
- An understanding of business acumen and the connection with Claims and claims lodgement
- Knowledge of insurance products and markets for commercial / SME industry segments
- Demonstrates strong client advocacy skills/experience
