We are seeking a talented claims Team Leader to join this expanding team.

This insurer is experiencing rapid growth and rebuilding on the other side of the pandemic and the hard hit on the travel industry.

Not only will you be delivering great products but you will also be representing a well trusted organisation who value each and every customer and client and become the team leader of an upbeat, vibrant team.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage Travel Claims team in a cost effective way to achieve department expense budgets, key performance indicators and financial performance and targets
- Monitor individual and team performance to ensure KPIs are being met and provide training, coaching and mentorship
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with all service providers
- Managing open claim files to strict deadlines
- Authorize payments and claim files within set authority limit
- Maintaining relevant incident and operational claim registers e.g. large loss, TP savings, decline registers, complaints register
- Liaise with suppliers and service providers

**Skills and experience**
- Strong knowledge of claims and policy interpretation
- 3-5 years’ experience in handling end to end claims
- Proactive people management skills
- Strategic thinker
- Strong customer focus
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Proven team management experience
