**About the position**

Council’s Safer Communities Department is looking for a part-time parking officer who will be responsible for undertaking parking enforcement duties across Frankston City. The hours for this role are 1 evening shift per week 5pm to 8pm and every Saturday & Sunday 9am to 4pm (15 hours per week).

The main responsibilities will include:

- Conduct routine and regular patrols throughout the municipality outside of normal business hours including weekends and evenings
- Ensure all Parking Enforcement complaints are investigated and responded to within Council time frames and guidelines.
- Provide advice to staff and members of the public on matters regarding parking enforcement ensuring an excellent standard of customer service is provided at all times.

This is a part time role working 15 hours per week. You will be working one evening shift and Saturday and Sunday.

**About you**
- A broad understanding of the wider functions of Council’s Parking Enforcement Services and operations.
- Well - developed administrative skills
- A working knowledge of relevant parking enforcement procedures, legislation, regulations and Council local laws
- Experience with the handheld device preferably PinForce

This position is a band 4 currently remunerated at $36.89 per hour, plus superannuation. Overtime will also be paid as required.
